I tried another slow cooker recipe. Was also pretty good! I put the chicken in the slow cooker before leaving for the day. I went to the museum with the kids, and when I came home at night- dinner was ready! The kids also likes the chicken!
My modifications:
- Used 12 skinless chicken thighs and made 2.5 x the sauce (probably could make less next time)
- Cooked on low for 8 hours
Honey Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs (~from allrecipes.com)
Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
Directions
- Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker.
- Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.
- Cook on Low for 6 hours.
