Easy and flavorful chicken recipe! No need to marinate ahead of time.
Here's what I basically did:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2) Place chicken in pan lined with tin foil and season with garlic salt. I also scored the chicken so that the chicken would be better seasoned
3) Cover completely with foil and cook for 1 hour at 350 degrees
4) Pour out juices from baked chicken
5) Pour BBQ sauce on chicken and cook uncovered for another 25 min at 350 degrees

Ingredients
- 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place chicken in a shallow baking dish and sprinkle with garlic powder. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Remove baking dish from oven and drain any fat from dish. Pour the barbecue sauce evenly over the chicken and bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove and serve.
