One of the earliest desserts I made when I came to Atlanta. It's pretty simple, and versatile. Also something that you can do with your kids!
Ingredients:
Directions:
Ingredients:
- 12 Keebler mini graham cracker crusts (come in packs of 6)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Fruit (I usually use strawberries, blueberries, canned mandarin oranges; sometimes kiwi and raspberries)
- Apple jelly
Directions:
- Beat cream cheese until fluffy
- Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth
- Stir in lemon juice and vanilla
- Spoon the filling into the mini graham cracker crutst
- Top with fruit
- Brush with apple jelly (I microwave the jelly for 20-25 seconds to make it easier to spread. Then I let it cool a little bit before spreading on the fruit)
- Chill thoroughly before serving
