Thank you to our friend Ketaki for sharing this great recipe! Makes wonderful chai. Goes great with three-spice carrot cake!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons tea leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed cardamom
- sugar to taste
Directions:
- Boil water
- Add the tea leaves
- Add the cardamom
- Bring to a boil and let tea brew
- Add the milk. Boil for additional 6-8min and simmer
- Strain the chai into a cup
- Add sugar to taste
