Mom's sweet and sour pork recipe




My mom's sweet and sour pork recipe. It's good, although hard to say how much ingredients you need. My oldest daughter likes this! Even got her to eat peppers with this!

Mom's sweet and sour pork recipe.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb pork loin
  • black vinegar or balsamic vinegar
  • soy sauce
  • corn starch
  • 2-3 cloves chopped garlic
  • ketchup
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 Chinese brown sugar bar or regular brown sugar
  • 1 can pineapple chunks

Directions
  1. Cut the pork loin into chunks. Marinade the pork with soy sauce and balsamic vinegar for a few hours. Also sprinkle some corn starch on the pork.
  2. Pan fry some garlic with green peppers.
  3. Add the pork and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add in ketchup and 1 bar of the Chinese brown sugar bar.
  5. Add in the pineapple chunks.
  6. May need to additionally season, or thicken sauce with corn starch.
  7. Serve with rice.
