Roasted Butternut Sqaush with Maple Syrup




With butternut squash, usually I just make mashed butternut squash, but this time, decided to roast it, and then toss it with maple syrup.

Ingredients
  • 1 butternut squash
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • maple syrup
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Remove the seeds and cut the butternut squash into 1/2 inch slices.
  3. Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper, and lay on a single layer on baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes at 425 degrees.
  5. Toss with maple syrup.
