There
are now so many bubble tea and dessert shops with mango sago drinks, but my 2nd
daughter frequently can’t eat them
because of her dairy allergy. She wanted to try this recipe without dairy.
Ingredients:
4
large mangoes
½
cup sago
¼
cup to ½ cup green tea cooled (used mango lychee green tea)
½
cup coconut milk
2
tablespoons agave or to taste
Agave
Directions
Prepare
sago by boiling water and letting sago boil for 10 min, constantly stirring.
Then close the lid and led the sago sit for 20 min covered. Rinse with cold
water.
Make
green tea and cool.
Peel
and cut 4 mango
Make
the mango puree by blending 1.5-2 mangoes and then adding green tea. I also
added some agave to this mango puree mixture.
Combine
coconut milk with agave.
Assemble
mango sago dessert into a glass cup: Put mango chunks at the bottom, then add
sago, then coconut milk and then mango puree. Then added another layer of sago,
coconut milk and mango puree. Lastly, topped with some chopped mango.
Chill
and then serve.
